Moments earlier Kelsey and Kipp are relaxing after dinner by a fire in a quaint colonial house, enjoying homemade cocktails and doing one of Kelsey's favorite activities - completing a puzzle! As Kelsey places the final puzzle piece and scans the puzzle with a phone, Kipp drops to one knee while presenting a ring from his pocket and asks the obvious question!

Earlier that night, Kipp is upstairs changing for dinner while Kelsey finds a puzzle in the sitting room by the fireplace that promises a prize once completed. Kelsey reads the instructions from Colonial Williamsburg Resorts, and shouts upstairs "Kipp!! You have to come check this out!" as she spreads the puzzle out on the coffee table eager to solve the puzzle and learn about the mysterious prize. Kipp joins in as they furiously assemble the puzzle, but sadly the mystery will have to wait until after dinner at The Fat Canary, exploration of the wine cellar below, and a short (and chilly!) star-lit walk through Colonial Williamsburg.

Earlier that morning, Kelsey and Kipp arrive at The Williamsburg Inn to check into a two-bedroom colonial house (the George Jackson House) located in Colonial Williamsburg. With not much time before the scheduled massages at the Spa of Colonial Williamsburg, Kelsey quickly takes in every inch of the house as Kipp rushes to place a surprise puzzle in one of the sitting rooms in hopes that Kelsey will find it later this evening. After enjoying massages and exploring Colonial Williamsburg, Kelsey and Kipp proceed to the crest of The Crim Dell Bridge for a destiny-sealing kiss before evening Mass.

A few days prior, Kipp surprises Kelsey with a trip planned in Colonial Williamsburg, knowing it is one of Kelsey's absolute favorite places to visit. The excuse for a trip planned exclusively by Kipp? Well, exactly one year prior was a relationship milestone you'd normally not celebrate and Kelsey planned the majority of their most recent trip - it is Kipp's turn to take the reigns.

In preparation for the trip, Kipp sets up a website to help pop the question and generates several QR codes that will lead to the site. He has several items custom made with the QR code to assist with the proposal (you always need a backup plan!), including a puzzle. Kipp also creates an instructional insert for the puzzle that appears to be from Colonial Williamsburg Resorts and gives the puzzle an authentic appearance. The completed puzzle displays a QR code that leads to a website - www.kelseyandkipp.com - which, at the time, looked a little something like this.
